School of Kicking – Virtual Classroom Launch Tomorrow we plan to unveil our much-anticipated Virtual Classroom on the School of Kicking website! Your one-stop-shop for all kicking tutorials, practices and drills. Initially launching with two courses: our FREE ‘Drop Punt Course’ and our ‘Kicking in Lockdown Course’ for only £9.99. The aim of this blog is to give you an insight on what you can expect from the Virtual Classroom and why you should be as excited about it as we are! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lB9Zr1xBaBw What is a Virtual Classroom? It’s as simple as it sounds. A virtual classroom is a virtual, online space where you can access an assortment of training programmes, drills and classes on a variety of skills to help improve your game. Access to the Classroom is available completely free and will only require a few simple login details at release! All programmes will be designed specifically to be walked through step-by-step, at an individual pace. All our world-class content will be available to revisit and re-watch as many times as you need! What programmes can I expect from the Classroom when it launches this Friday? We’re initially launching two programmes available this Friday, meaning that anyone can get their teeth stuck into some drills and content straight away. Included is the FREE Running Drop Punt Course and a ‘Virtual Goal Kicking Lesson for Lockdown’, to help assist your kicking game as quarantine continues. However, with the Classroom still in its infancy stages, these two courses represent a small portion of what we have planned for the future, so be sure to keep your eyes peeled for all our future plans and classes! Who are my Coaches? Here at the School of Kicking, we have assembled a team of world class coaching talent. Dave Alred MBE PHD: Head of Mindset and Performance, Dave, is widely regarded as one of the best coaches operating in the world today. Having worked with the likes of Jonny Sexton, George Ford and Jonny Wilkinson; Dave is the ultimate authority on how to improve your game. He will have you kicking like a pro in no time. Our online Classroom is the only place in the World where you will be able to access the same level of one-on-one insight and instruction that the pros receive from Dave. It is, therefore, the only place you should be looking to for instruction on how to improve your kicking game. Tony Yapp: Ex-pro ‘Yappy’ enjoyed a 12 season career in which he kicked over 3000 points whilst playing for teams such as the Exeter Chiefs, The Barbarians and England u21’s. Tony has since turned his hand to coaching, qualifying as an RFU Level 3 Coach and is now our Head of Goal Kicking. During his career ‘Yappy’ was known as an expert all-round kicker and will not only be able to provide you with a variety of expertise on technique and method for your kicks but do so with the authority of having been in the heat of a professional battle. Stuart Alred: Stu’s playing career included stints at Exeter Chiefs, Exeter University and Launceston, where he set an all-time record for the most penalty goals kicked in a season. Stuart is now an RFU Level 2 coach. Along with his Father, Dave and ‘Yappy’, will be able to give you an online coaching experience like no other!
