Six Nations 2020: Ones To Watch

England head coach Eddie Jones has named eight uncapped players in his 34-man squad for the Six Nations. He is hoping to bring some young players in to the side to keep building the depth. The Six Nations starts on the 1st February, England and their new stars will be taking the field on 2nd February. The players Eddie has brought into the side bring excitement and passion and leaves England fans on the edge of their seats waiting to see what they can bring in February. Northampton lock Alex Moon, centre Fraser Dingwall and full-back George Furbank, along with Bath prop Will Stuart and Wasps fly-half Jacob Umaga, Hooker Tom Dunn, flanker Ben Earl and wing Ollie Thorley, receive their first senior call ups. A real talent on our ones to watch list is Jacob Umaga. As the name may suggest, the 21-year-old as some well-known relatives. He is the son of former Samoa star Mike Umaga as well as nephew to the All Blacks legendary centre Tana Umaga. Playing for Wasps he has shown exactly what he can bring. In the 2019/2020 season he has already made 18 conversions, 8 penalty kicks and contributing to 70 points. A highlight for Jacob was his game against Leicester Tigers in 2018 where he made 5 conversions and 1 try. One to watch!! Another young star to look out for is George Furbank, fullback for Northampton Saints. The 23-year-old has already contributed to Citizen Try of the Week for the Gallagher Premiership. As well adding 15 points to the Saints current successful season and 42 points overall for the club. Ben Earl is an additional player to watch in the upcoming Six Nations, the Saracens back row has shone in the current Premiership leading the try scoring table so far with 6 tires and making 12 clean breaks he’s some talent.
