The Kickers Club names Kitlocker.com as Official Kit Supplier ahead of upcoming Alred Trophy finals

Specialist kicking coaching platform The Kickers Club has teamed up with leading UK-based teamwear brand Kitlocker.com as its Official Kit Supplier, including for the upcoming final of kicking talent search the Alred Trophy.

Since 2005 Kitlocker.com has been supplying teamwear to schools, grassroots clubs, semi-professional clubs and national governing bodies, including England Netball, Premier League clubs, Middlesex & Yorkshire cricket and more, as well as operating an online store. The partnership with The Kickers Club will see it supply kit to contestants in the female and male Alred Trophy finals on Friday 23rd July and Friday 24th July respectively, as well as for The Kickers Club coaches and online store.
Created by legendary kicking coach Dave Alred, the man behind globally renowned kickers such as Jonny Wilkinson, George Ford, Beauden Barrett, James O’Connor and Jonny Sexton, The Kickers Club provides specialist online and in-person kicking coaching to players from grassroots through to international level. The Alred Trophy, a product of the School of Kicking, is a search for Great Britain and Ireland’s next best rugby kicker, testing kickers on a range of scenario based drills designed to simulate the pressures placed on kickers during a rugby match. Finalists have qualified via a number of regional qualifying competitions held so far this year throughout England, Scotland, Ireland and Wales.
The Kickers Club head coach Tony Yapp says, “Any kicker will tell you that comfort is key to performance and having the right kit can play a large part in that. As a club, the ordering process is also important and Kitlocker.com just makes it really simple and easy as well as providing quality kit that looks smart. We’re proud to be partnering with Kitlocker.com, a fellow UK brand that understands rugby and delivers exceptional service.” Kitlocker.com head of business development Lee Cooksey says, “For us when we partner with a brand we always look for those who share our values and provide unique opportunities within sport. The Kickers Club ticks those boxes and is changing the game for rugby kickers. We want Kitlocker to be the brand people think of when it comes to sports kit and bespoke online stores. We’re delighted to announce this partnership with The Kickers Club and look forward to what we can do together.”
