Stu & Yappy will be holding workshops in Loughborough during April with special guest coaches Loughborough Lightning and England players Katy Daley-Mclean and Emily Scarratt.
Loughborough Lightning centre Emily Scarratt was named World Rugby Women’s Player of the Year for 2019 and Emily is best known as the player who secured England’s 2014 Women’s World Cup triumph with six minutes left in the game.
The session will be covering a mix of punting, goal kicking and drop goals.
Our expert tutors bring their years of experience in rugby kicking at all levels to not just show you how, but also explain the why behind our unique method of coaching.
Using our ‘one of a kind’ framework to structure our sessions the tutors will guide you through a progressive approach to kicking which means anyone can kick with more power, more accuracy and less injury. Our workshops are a mix of focus and fun which make them both enjoyable and valuable.
Players will receive instruction, see demonstrations and play specifically designed games to develop technique. They will experience feedback, encouragement and challenge as they take huge steps forward in their journey of learning.
They will finish the day with a reflection on key learning points and a coaching card to take home to inform ongoing practice.
We enjoy both hosting workshops as well as bringing them to your club. Let us know if you would like us to run a workshop at your club or school. Please direct all enquires to firstname.lastname@example.org
